AURandwick was on the kitchen radio, and the next-to-jump board was already up when I logged in. I work off speed maps more than tips, and the metro card had them ready before the first. Gallops sit at the front, harness underneath if the thoroughbreds look messy. Prices stay in decimals, and the slip shows what a win would return before I confirm, so a twenty-dollar stake is just arithmetic. Overseas meetings appear when the local card is short. I almost never bother with them. What I like is how little hunting it takes. Rosehill, a provincial, or a midweek greyhound, same short path. Not flashy. That is the point.
